Family of School's Concert

May 21, 2026

The Bur Oak Music program is excited to add a new event to our annual performance calendar. On Thursday, May 21st, Bur Oak Music will be hosting John McCrae, Wismer, and Donald Cousens Public School to perform alongside the Bur Oak Massed Choir and the Bur Oak Senior Wind Ensemble.

This is a free concert held in the Bur Oak Gymnasium. Doors open to the public at 6:30 p.m. with a concert start time of 7:00 p.m.

We are really looking forward to an evening of music and partnership.

Spring Rhapsody 2026

The Bur Oak Music program is pleased to present our final spring showcase, Spring Rhapsody 2026 at the Flato Markham Theatre for the Performing Arts. The concert is being held at 7:30 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2026 and will feature all our core performing ensembles alongside selected solos and small ensembles.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Spring Rhapsody 2026.

Montreal Performance Tour

The Bur Oak Music program is excited to be participating in a performance tour to Montreal, Quebec, Canada. 71 grade 11 and 12 students will be travelling to Montreal beginning April 30th and will be returning May 3rd.

Students will be seeing a symphony performance at La Maison Symphonique, performing at Le Monastere, attending a workshop at McGill University, touring Ponte-a-Calliere Museum, touring the McCord Museum of Canadian History, and seeing the Montreal Opera at Place des Arts.

We are looking forward to an amazing trip and making some wonderful memories.
