Bur Oak Music competes in the 2024 Kiwanis Music Festival with some great results.
Congratulations to the Bur Oak Music Programme on an incredible showing at this year's Kiwanis Music Festival. The Grade 9 Concert Band, under the direction of Mr. Stokes, competed in their class on Friday, February 23rd, and came away with a mark of 91, a Platinum Award, and a 1st Place.
The Senior Wind Ensemble, again under the direction of Mr. Stokes, performed Monday, February 26th, and also received a mark of 91, a Platinum Award, and a 1st Place from adjudicator Dr. Jeff Reynolds.
The Bur Oak Choir, under the direction of Ms. Lee received an incredible mark of 97, a Platinum Award, and a 1st Place from their adjudicator Carole Anderson on Friday, March 1st.
Congratulations to the Bur Oak Music Programme on representing our school so well at Kiwanis. We are all very proud of you.
